Family Faith meets Sunday mornings from 10-11:30 am, September to June, in the Mary Chapel. During this time, children gather for catechesis according grade in a SFX classroom and  parents meet to discuss issues of  spirituality, faith and parenting. We currently have classes for children             pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Liturgy of the Word for Children: Sundays from September to June during the 9am and 11:30 am Masses, children ages 5-11 (children between kindergarten and 3rd grade) are dismissed  following the Opening Prayer and return to Mass just before the Eucharistic prayer. They gather in the West Room to celebrate a liturgy of the Word geared to their age and  developmental level.

Catechetical Ministry

Don’t be intimidated by the ancient word “catechist.” It comes from a Greek word meaning to “re-echo” and had been used by the church for eons to describe the educational task of handing on the faith.

Our Family Faith ministry includes sacramental preparation, youth ministry, Sunday school and Children’s Liturgy of the Word. There are many awesome opportunities for you to share your faith with kids, teens, and adults. All levels of experience are welcome. Less experienced catechists will be placed with individuals who have more experience.
